Newspaper-style puzzles are similar to those found in newspapers, with a closed and set grid. Depending on the puzzle size and other factors, we try to include at least ten clues in each puzzle that relate to a chapter in the Bible or other books. (With 9x9 puzzles, this may be less). The other clues are general clues. These puzzles can be difficult and while some words are almost impossible to guess, solving the words that cross these hard ones and with more effort, the puzzles can be solved. Words from the passage are identified either by shaded cells or by clues which are "fill-in-the-blank."
